The event will host over 50 hot air balloons and bring in over 15,000 visitors to Page from around the world.
Every year, this unique festival transforms Page Arizona's Main Street into a plaza of colorful vendors and lights up the night sky with the glow of ascendant hot air balloons.
Experience Remarkable Views of Lake Powell
Page Arizona is of course famous for Lake Powell and all its stunning lake and canyon scenery.
The Regatta kicks off with an early morning flight and all visitors are welcome to gather around the balloon launch site. One of the best places to take photographs on the first day is from North Navajo Drive, which is only about 10 minutes from Lake Powell.
During the second day, most visitors choose to watch the colorful array of balloons drift across the Lake Powell National Golf Course. If you stand near the ponds, you can capture some great shots as the balloons come up from the cliff face.
Learn All About Hot Air Balloons
One of the best parts of the Lake Powell Balloon Regatta is its focus on education. The pilots are all eager to share their passion and more than willing to visit local schools to perform lectures and presentations.
Most of the pilots have full-time jobs but choose to fly on weekends just for fun. Currently, for the 10th Annual Lake Powell Balloon Regatta there are 31 pilots registered and the community certainly appreciates them. You can scope out all of the pretty balloons that are going to be at the festival on the Page Lake Powell Balloon Regatta Facebook event page.
Every Friday night after the first float, Antelope Point Marina hosts a big party on Lake Powell for all of the pilots that came out for the event. As seen in the video below, the 2011 festival was a huge success with unforgettable ballooning over Lake Powell, live music at the evening Balloon Glow and Fair and much, much more.

Enjoy Shopping From Local Lake Powell Vendors
On the final day of the event, all of the balloons are lined up along Lake Powell Blvd. for a synchronized lighting. This Saturday Night Balloon Glow features both local and state-wide vendors that set up in the Mesa Theatre parking lot to sell everything from delicious food to t-shirts.
If you're interested in being a vendor, fill out this form and follow the instructions to send it in.
In addition to these vendors, the Powell Museum will be open to the public. Local artists will be showcasing and selling their artwork on the Museum’s Art Walk.
